I tried to warn you!

I'm pretty bad at keeping a blog....still. Hehehe. Working on it I guess.

Things that have happened:
stopped P90X after both the roomie and I got sick, and then went on vacation for like, the whole month of July. We made it 6 weeks, and were looking and feeling pretty good, in my opinion :P

Summer is for fun stuffs though, I'd rather be out doing things than lifting weights. Although, it does make chillin' at the beach in a bikini more enjoyable if you are confident in how you look.

Summer's almost over! At least, for those people going back to school. I wish I was a student still, this "having a job year-round" thing gets monotonous. It is nice to have the year seperated into parts, and I miss it. Oh well, can't go back? ...or can you?

Day 05 - Legs and Back, Ab Ripper X

Today it finally felt like I could actually do the workout semi-well. Well, not the pull-ups part; we hadn't got our bands in yet. (They are here now though!)

BUt the ab ripper workout I actually did! ...with small breaks :P And we still dont quite get what they are doing with the obliques set, but thats ok.

Progress! It's a good thing :)

Physical Status: better than before we started for sure
Mental Status: Excited

Day 04 - Yoga X

Yoga was the perfect thing for today. I feel soooo much better than yesterday sore wise, and it will definitely let me recover a little bit so I can try to push harder tomorrow. Good job DVD planners!

Not so good a job Tiffany-Vanessa...we didn't realize it was an hour and a half, so we only did the first hour. Next time we'll be ready!

In other news, we have to watch the doggies closer when they are gated off in my room. They ate the BRAND NEW watch I just got in yesterday...sadface. It was a joint mischievous effort, I am sure, the rascals!

Wt: 124.5, morning in workout gear....the scale doesn't help at all does it?
Physical Status: much improved over yesterday, only sore around my quads
Mental Status: Good to go!

Ow, ow, ow, ow.....feels like rigor mortis?

Oh man! Sitting at work today really did a number on me. I mean, I was stiff before...and from sleeping. But now? It's definitely a challenge to sit...and to stand up after. I'm walk-hop-waddling. Its getting worse through the day instead of better. Don't do it body! I didn't even kill you that bad :)

Hopefully it gets better before this weekend! I want to be able to go out and enjoy myself with Evan on Sunday! SO EXCITED! I haven't seen Evan since December. And that visit was too short (totally his fault too)! It's nice to have a person to hang out with who likes so many of the same things I do...right down to ordering arroz con pollo (because it's delicious, cheap, and filling!) and lemonade/iced tea :) Fingers crossed for good weather and fun times!

In the mean time...chillin' with the doggies, who are doing so much better at just being themselves with each other. Still definitely times of contention, and all out fights, but more in the style of companions now, instead of just rivals.

Apparently going out with Vanessa to a work-thingy-gathering after we pick up her car from the shop..I hope we don't stay out too late! I feel like the thing that is going to get me most unmotivated about P90X is waking up early to do it :)

I do love my sleep....

Day 03 - Arms and Shoulders, Ab Ripper X

Today began as Day 03 of P90X training. I'm sore from yesterday, and Monday, but I've been worse. I haven't decided if this is going to be a good pace or if I should push harder; no doubt I will have no choice but to push harder when we get our resistence bands in....no way they are lighter than soup cans :)

Tonight no big plans. Maybe walk around to stretch out. Hang out with the doggies :)

Wt: 128 lbs with my steel-toed boots and clothes on :P
Physical Status: Sore...kind of walk-hobbling, hehe
Mental Status: Excited about having muscles again in the future

Day 01 - Chest and Back, Ab Ripper X

Today is the day we begin our journey. Vanessa seems super motivated to actually do this thing out hardcore...and I am going to try and stick with it too. It will be nice to be able to physically do all the things I like to do again.

We started with the first DVD today; after pre-watching it while eating dinner last night. It was good to know what to expect. It was kind of fun and goofy and it was really nice to have someone to do it with. I hope it goes well.

There's a long way to go. This week and next week are especially going to be hard. I hope it works!

Wt: 127 after dinner, dressed
Physical Status: soooooooo weak! I can't believe how much muscle mass and strength I have lost by being totally lazy
Mental Status: so far, so good
